Located near the mouth of the Loire River in western France, the Muscadet region is renowned for its crisp and refreshing white wines.

The only grape variety grown here is Melon de Bourgogne, producing wines with bright acidity and a delicate minerality. Muscadet is famously paired with seafood—especially oysters and shellfish—making it a beloved staple on French tables.

About Domaine de la Sénéchalière

Domaine de la Sénéchalière is recognized as a pioneer in natural Muscadet. For many years,

winemaker Marc Pesnot devoted himself to cultivating vines without chemicals,

harvesting by hand, and crafting pure, expressive wines with remarkable depth and complexity.

In 2025, the domaine entered a new chapter: Marc passed the torch to the next generation, Ryôsuke from Japan and Robin from France. Carrying forward Marc’s vision while bringing their own sensibilities, they are now shaping a new era for Muscadet and sharing its richness with the world.
